We are a small breeder of pedigree shorthair cats, our main concern being that they should have a safe, secure upbringing in a warm and affectionate environment - and should only go to homes with an equally caring attitude.
All our kittens are handled from an early age, to improve their temperament, and adapt readily to our family dogs (Tessa, a large Collie mix and Katie, a Border Collie). Prior to sale (at three months), they are vet-checked, fully inoculated and receive treatment against worms and fleas.
We have been visiting cat shows and find them intriguing and interesting - but also quite exhausting for cats and humans alike!
I'm not sure we humans are up to it at present, but if you have any suggestions, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
GILLIAN HANSON

Our human family having grown up, it all started with Storm - a big, soft, baggy British Shorthair. We were so in awe of him, we bought another British blue, then another.. British are such blatently laid-back cats!
We had our first litter of kittens in 2003, so we are relatively new to breeding and are always open to suggestions or advice from others of like minds.
We now have our own blue stud boy Parsley (above), who is a big, placid, gentle cat and a charmer to all, humans included.
We normally breed from our own pairs, so both parents can be inspected, although Parsley (FIP negative & blood group A) is available for open stud; we advise that visiting females are tested (the usual snap test will suffice). We supply a 6-generation pedigree certificate.

The Snowshoe began as a cross between the American Shorthair and the Siamese in the early 1960s in the United States, producing a sturdy, pointed cat with white markings on the face, chest and feet. It is found in the usual Siamese colors, most commonly seal, chocolate, lilac, and blue in two patterns, mitted and bicolor. It is also found in red (flame), cream, cinnamon, and fawn. American Shorthairs, Oriental Shorthairs, and Siamese are still legal outcrosses.
The Snowshoe is a lively breed that enjoys indoor living. It is affectionate and playful, yet laid back -- combining some of the best personality traits of its parent breeds.
The Snowshoe is still a rare breed.
Associations: The Snowshoe is accepted by AACE, ACFA, CFF, and TICA.
